Last week, Holli conducted the first of a series of formal conversations with media staff about school libraries in the 21st Century. The series, called Lunchtime Learning, focuses on issues of relevance to media staff today. In addition, the events will be interactive, with your comments and questions and ideas included via live blog. What you'll find below is the archived video of the first episode as well as a live blog archive of the conversation, where you'll find links and comments from participants as well as members of the audience. She was joined for this episode by teacher librarians Joanne Meester, Sherri Platt, and Michelle Pulley. Keep reading the blog to hear about future opportunities to participate!

Thanks Holli, and Bud, for putting this together. It is a great idea -- it is just hard to really participate during school (those pesky students keep interrupting)!
I think it is especially important to note that not only does this create a great learning community within our district, but how exciting that it was open (and well-received) for non-district participants as well.
